I have been knitting - alot! One of my knitting goals is to learn to make a good fitting pair of socks. I love the look of handknit socks and while I can make them I never seem to be able to make a pair that fits well. Part of this - I think - is because I am a loose knitter and in order to get a nice tight gauge I must use a size 0. That is a lot of knitting on tiny needles.
But I am trying again - this time in a very easy pattern called Vanilla Latte Socks. I am using Miss Babs Yummy 2 ply sock yarn in a colorway called Witch's Potion - which is a fun, bright Halloween-y colorway.
I am joining along with Ginny's Yarn Along and Tami's WIP Wednesday. I really enjoy both of these blogs and weekly prompts. I especially love to see the gorgeous pictures from Yarn Alongs - where people post pictures of their knitting and the book they are reading. I almost exclusively read on my Kindle - so no fun yarn/book pictures. But I have been reading quite a bit. Up right now is The Peach Keeper - although I am having a hard time getting into this book. Not sure why - but I will keep trying.
