My son is home for Spring Break and has been cooking. Monday he made homemade pizza with whole wheat crust...so good. It was funny because yesterday I posted that one of my favorite smells was fresh baked bread. I came home from work yesterday and he had made whole wheat bread. The house smelled wonderful! Next up is cajun chicken and rice. I could get use to coming home to dinner every night.
While he wouldn't want to admit it he idolizes his older brother...always has. He and his fiance spent the weekend with our oldest son and DIL. Our oldest is a great cook and bakes bread regularly...hence Matt's interest in cooking and baking.
I love that our boys are such good friends now...especially since theywere not 'friends' growing up because of the 5 years age difference. When they were little they got along great...then our oldest hit middle school age and the 5 year gap became very evident. But now that they are grown-up they are great friends and I love seeing them together.
I could get used to all that cooking, too!
My brothers and I get along much better now than we used to!
