I finshed knitting Acer yesterday - exactly 2 weeks of knitting for this sweater. Not bad! The pattern was very easy to follow and the yarn I used - Jo Sharp Silkroad DK Tweed - was wonderful to knit with. I have read that it has a tendency to stretch during blocking so I am a little nervous to do this...although the sweater is a little snug right now. I plan on blocking it tonight after work and hope to wear it later this week.
On my lunch hour today I am hoping to run and pick up the new camera I bought myself - a Nikon D40. I am so excited to get thsi home and start playing with it. I treated myself to this as it was out of my usual price range of purchases but since I rarely spurge on myself I decided to go for it...I just hope I am not disappointed.
